Jerome was educated in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom and he obtained his engineering Masters degree (with first class honours) at the Imperial College, University of London. After he had graduated, he worked as an electrical and electronic engineer in the United Kingdom. Jerome then read the law at the BBP Law School, London and then obtained his LL.B. degree (with upper second class honours).
Jerome was admitted to the Hong Kong Bar in 2006, and he was appointed for half a year as a Deputy Adjudicator at the Small Claims Tribunal in 2014. His practice covers a broad range of civil and criminal litigations.
