Our competition law barristers are well-recognised for their experience in Hong Kong competition law matters and regularly represent public and private clients across a wide spectrum of competition law issues. We are one of the only two Chambers in Hong Kong to be named a Tier 1 set for Competition Law in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2022, with individual Members ranked as “Leading Juniors” in the field.
Members of Denis Chang’s Chambers were involved in the first ever two enforcement actions involving the breach of the First Conduct Rule, namely, Competition Commission v Nutanix Hong Kong Ltd and Others [2017] 3 HKLRD 584; and Competition Commission v. W. Hing Construction Co Ltd and Others [2018] 5 HKLRD 437, as well as other significant cases including Competition Commission v Kam Kwong Engineering Company Ltd & Ors [2020] 4 HKLRD 61, which saw the Competition Tribunal dispose of proceedings via the Carecraft procedure for the first time.
