Denis Chang’s Chambers holds annual interviews for consideration of applications for Tenancy. Applications for Tenancy should reach Chambers Managers by no later than the first Thursday of June of each year. Interviews will be held in about late-June / early-July of each year. Applications for Tenancy should be delivered by post or by hand, and should include:
(a) Covering letter explaining why you wish to be a Member of Chambers;
(b) Full Curriculum Vitae; and
(c) A recent colour photograph.
At Denis Chang’s Chambers, we are committed to providing hands-on experience to pupils. We provide our pupils all-round training to equip them for the legal and practical challenges they will face in practice.
Applications for pupillage should be made to our Pupillage Committee and must include the following:
(a) A cover letter;
(b) Curriculum Vitae (CV), which should include:
• An indication of academic GPA or equivalent (e.g., subject grades, degree classification)
• High school name and grades
(c) A recent photograph.
Applications can be submitted online, by post, or by hand. Interviews will generally be arranged for shortlisted applicants.
Our Chambers warmly welcomes all students who are interested in observing and engaging in the daily work of our Barristers to apply for our limited Mini-Pupillage places.
Summer mini-pupillages are usually offered between June and August, and Winter mini-pupillages between December and January each year. Each placement usually lasts between one and two weeks depending on the pupil master assigned.
Applications for mini-pupillage should be addressed to our Mini-Pupillage Committee and include the following:
(a) A cover letter;
(b) Curriculum Vitae (CV), which should include:
• An indication of academic GPA or equivalent (e.g., subject grades / degree classification)
• High school attended and grades.
Applications can be submitted online, by post, or by hand.
All applications must reach us on or before:
(1) 31st March for summer pupillages; or
(2) 30th September for winter pupillages.
