Prior to joining Chambers in 2024, Chris served as a Judicial Assistant at the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal, where he assisted the judges with substantive appeals, leave applications, and other works of the Court generally. Chris was called to the Bar in 2023, upon his completion of pupillage with Mr. Tony Li SC, Mr. Eric Leung, Mr. Robin D’Souza and Mr. Simon Wong.
During his legal studies, Chris competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where he received honourable mentions both as an oralist and for the written memorandums.
Chris is developing a broad civil and criminal practice. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. He accepts instructions in all areas of work.

Shareholders Dispute
• JS Success Ltd v Cheung Theobald Aylwin & Ors [2025] HKCFI 3837 (as sole advocate) – represented the majority shareholders of the company in successfully defending an unfair prejudice petition in a 6-day trial arising from a joint venture of restaurant business.
Commercial / Contract
• AXHT Company Limited v 王一诚 [2025] HKCFI 4568; [2025] HKCFI 6199 (with Jason Ko) – represented the debtors in successfully resisting the creditor’s application for a Mareva injunction and the subsequent leave to appeal.
• Telford Environmental Service Ltd v Greenway Building Materials Ltd DCCJ 1273/2020 – trial on contractual dispute concerning a professional consultancy contract.
Compulsory Sale
• Kerryford Holdings Ltd & Ors v Profit Valley Ltd & Ors [2025] HKLdT 46 (with Ross Yuen); [2025] HKLdT 75 (as sole advocate) – represented multiple groups of minority owners in a 10-day trial for an application for compulsory sale for redevelopment; and acted for the successful respondent in resisting the developer’s application to impose additional burdens on minority owners in the particulars and conditions for an order for sale.

• RC Capital Ltd v Wong Iong LDPE 595/2022 – represented the sub-tenant in an application for recovery of rent and possession of property.
Matrimonial
• LWWD v NH FCMC 7232/2017 – represented the wife in an application for recovery of arrears of maintenance.
