Denis Chang’s Chambers and Linklaters Hong Kong are pleased to co-host the Hong Kong Competition Law Moot 2019.

Following the successful inaugural Hong Kong Competition Law Moot 2018 in which more than 50 international teams participated, our Chambers and Linklaters Hong Kong are pleased to announce that the 2nd Hong Kong Competition Law Moot (“the Moot“) is now open for registration.

The Moot will consist of two rounds, namely, the written round and the oral round.  Any two students who are currently doing LLB, Juris Doctor or postgraduate courses in law and are enrolled in the same university or law faculty are allowed to form a team and participate in the Moot.  As this is not an inter-university competition, each university or law faculty can send more than one team to join.  The eight teams with the highest scores in the written round will advance to the oral round, which will take place on 21 September 2019.

Students who wish to participate in the Moot should complete the designated registration form and submit it to Mr Carter Chim, the Executive Secretary of the Organising Team, in accordance with the instructions therein.  The Moot problem, the rules of the Moot and the registration form can be found on this page below.  The deadline for registration is 20 May 2019.
