Jerome C.W. Liu
Jerome was educated in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom and he obtained his engineering Masters degree (with first class honours) at the Imperial College, University of London. After he had graduated, he worked as an electrical and electronic engineer in the United Kingdom. Jerome then read the law at the BBP Law School, London and then obtained his LL.B. degree (with upper second class honours).
Jerome was admitted to the Hong Kong Bar in 2006, and he was appointed for half a year as a Deputy Adjudicator at the Small Claims Tribunal in 2014. His practice covers a broad range of civil and criminal litigations. Jerome has provided a substantial number of advices and has attended hearings/trials on land disputes (including adverse possession and the Small House Policy), personal injuries matters, contractual disputes, defamation, matrimonial and family disputes (including constructive and resulting trusts), wills and probate, shareholders’ disputes and cross border commercial disputes (including mainland, the United States, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and the British Virginia Island) and disciplinary actions (including the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Agents Authority and the Chinese Medicine Counsel of Hong Kong).

Earl Deng

Earl Deng read Law at the University of Cambridge, Fitzwilliam College on a Prince Philip Scholarship Bursary and was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2008, joining Chambers in the same year.
Earl has an active civil law practice involving advisory and advocacy work in complex commercial, contractual, chancery, and intellectual property disputes and is known as a specialist advocate for public and administrative law matters and sexual minority rights.
Earl is also a regular contributor to a large volume of practitioner publications, and has authored original chapters and volumes, including Chitty on Contracts (Hong Kong Specific Edn.), Employment Law and Practice in Hong Kong, Discrimination Law in Hong Kong, and various volumes of Halsbury Laws of Hong Kong.

Ross Yuen
Ross has his practice mainly in property law (including Chancery, Trust and Probate) and commercial law. He regularly acts for land owners/developers in adverse possession cases. He also frequently advises and appears on behalf of minority owners in compulsory sale applications, and on occasion, extends his services to majority owners. Advising on other land related matters such as conveyancing, building management and tenancy is also his regular practice.
He has been involved in some leading authorities on land and commercial disputes such as: Monat Investment Ltd v. All Person(s) in Occupation of Part of No 16 Ma Po Tsuen [2023] HKLRD 1311 and [2020] 4 HKLRD 330 (adopting Patel v. Mirza on illegality in the context of unauthorized building works in adverse possession); and Gain Wealth Global Credit & Investment Ltd v Chan Suk Fong [2020] 4 HKLRD 831 (interpretation of the Money Lenders Ordinance).
He has ample experience in working with land surveyor, building surveyor, structural engineer, authorized person and valuer. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst of the CFA Institute. Benefitting from his diverse background, he is recently expanding his practice to construction law and Building (Planning) Regulations that involve multiple expert disciplines.
Ross completed the PCLL from the University of Hong Kong with distinction in 2007 and was awarded the Association of China-Appointed Attesting Officers Scholarship for PCLL Students. Currently, he serves as a tutor and assessor of the PCLL civil advocacy course at the University of Hong Kong. He is an accredited mediator of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

Phyllis Lee
Since joining the Bar in 2014, Phyllis has appeared as an advocate in the Court of Appeal, the Court of First Instance, the District Court, the Lands Tribunal and Magistrates’ Courts.
She is developing a broad civil practice and has been instructed in a wide range of cases involving areas including but not limited to family/matrimonial, construction, company, defamation, probate and trust, employee compensation, intellectual property and personal injuries matters.
