Denis Chang’s Chambers continues to be recognised as a Top Tier Set in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2026

Denis Chang’s Chambers (DCC) is pleased to continue to be highly ranked in 7 practice areas in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2026 guide for the Hong Kong Bar. DCC has maintained its Tier 1 ranking in Administrative and public law and achieved excellent results across 7 practice areas. Administrative and public law – Tier 1 Set

Commercial disputes – Tier 2 Set 

Denis Chang’s Chambers ‘is well-known for its commercial dispute resolution practice’, and its ’barristers are highly sought after’. Head of chambers Denis Chang SC ‘is one of the most well-known and experienced barristers in Hong Kong’, with particular expertise in commercial real estate investment-related disputes. Of recent note, he acted for the claimant in the case of Leading Well Ltd v Secretary For Justice, which concerns Hong Kong’s first case addressing the question of the definition of an express grant of an easement. Turning to the set’s juniors, ‘exceptional lawyer’ Simon Wong is especially skilled in shareholder, banking, and contractual disputes, and he represented one of the defendants in China Shanshui Cement Group Ltd & Others v Zhang Caikui & Others, a case concerning a claim by a listed company against former directors with allegations of breach of duties, as well as unlawful means conspiracy.
